In Oosterhout, Overbetuwe municipality, three KaFra Towers are rising with a brand new design. After clarifying the available plot and associated space, it was concluded that the square standard shape of previous KaFra Towers would not fit. Therefore, it was decided to adapt the shape to the available space. Hence the rectangular shape of these new KaFra Towers, which is also illustrative of the flexibility of the concept.

Eventually, up to 275 international staff can stay here, spread across two-person studios and four-person flats in line with the SNF standard and recommendations of the Roemer Committee. Besides 24/7 professional management by Welfare Officers, the site will be complemented by a reception area, sports fields, communal areas, a gym and car park.

In the Brabant village of Rijkevoort, we are developing a location for up to 180 international employees. The spacious plot offers the possibility of installing Flex Homes, in this case the very latest Flex Home 3.0.  We will place these as a two-person studio (ideal for couples) or as a four-person flat where each has its own bedroom. Regardless of the number of bedrooms, each individual has at least 15 square metres of living space. The site also has a reception, some sports fields, communal areas and a gym.

Our twentieth location is situated on the Parallelweg in Etten-Leur. In just six months, we transformed a former office building and built a new complex. Construction began in January 2024 and the site was operational in July 2024. We now accommodate 250 international employees here. The location is equipped with various facilities, including two gyms, a recreation room and a reception where residents can ask questions or find support.

On the Violierenweg in Bleiswijk there are three KaFra Towers, where we house a total of 256 international employees. The location consists of two types of apartments: spacious four-person apartments with four bedrooms, and cozy two-person studios. Various facilities are available in and around the complex, such as a gym, recreation rooms, a reception and a basketball court. The green, park-like environment around the complex also offers residents plenty of space to relax and unwind. 

In the picturesque Californië neighbourhood, in the municipality of Horst aan de Maas, there is a location of 200 Flex Homes. These are home to 400 international employees and 400 Ukrainian refugees. Each home is spacious and fully furnished, with a separate bedroom for each resident. Of the 200 apartments, 175 have one double bedroom and two single bedrooms, while the remaining 25 apartments consist of two studios, ideal for couples. Residents share an open kitchen, common room, shower and separate toilet per house. KaFra California also offers a wide range of facilities. Residents can use a reception, supermarket, gym and several communal relaxation areas. For sports enthusiasts there’s a beach volleyball court, and there are also a children's playground and spacious green leisure areas.

On the Schansdijk in Zevenbergen, we realised three modern, sustainable KaFra Towers, each with four floors. These towers provide a safe and comfortable place for 300 Ukrainian refugees to live. The residential facilities consist of 16 four-person apartments per tower, where each resident has a separate bedroom and shares an open kitchen, common living room, bathroom and separate toilet. In addition, there are fourteen double studios, perfect for couples. The location is specially designed for families with children. In addition to the green park-like environment, there are various playing fields, benches and recreational facilities. Residents can meet in the central meeting room or use the gym facilities.

In Almere, we realised a special location for international employees. The former Westpoort office building has been transformed into a modern residential location by KaFra Housing. There are 81 spacious studios that can accommodate 185 residents, including 60 Ukrainian refugees. The studios are equipped with all modern conveniences, and residents can also use communal facilities. For example, a gym, an attractive patio and two leisure areas.

In Tilburg, we realised a housing location for international employees. KaFra Tilburg is a modern, H-shaped Flex Accommodation consisting of three floors with modular studios. The location has 208 studios for two people and can accommodate 416 international employees. The studios are spacious and fully furnished, with a living room, open kitchen, private bathroom and toilet. In addition, residents can make use of various communal facilities, such as a laundry, a basketball court and other sports and leisure facilities.

On the Keizersveld business park in Venray, we created a housing location for 92 international employees. The location consists of a four-storey KaFra Tower. The tower offers 16 four-person apartments and 14 two-person studios. All apartments are fully furnished and fully equipped. In the four-person apartments, residents all have their own private bedroom, but they share an open kitchen, shared living room, shower and separate toilet. The two-person studios are designed to accommodate couples together. The location also has various facilities, including a reception, laundry and sports and relaxation facilities. 

In Leiden, we transformed the former Holiday Inn hotel into modern and comfortable accommodation for international employees. KaFra Leiden now offers 200 spacious two-person studios, good for up to 400 residents. The studios are stylishly furnished and equipped with all modern conveniences, each with its own kitchen, living area, shower and toilet. Residents have everything they need within reach at the location. In addition, the communal facilities such as a gym and cozy relaxation areas provide a perfect balance between privacy and social interaction.

In Best, we transformed a former NH Hotel location into modern and comfortable accommodation for international employees, within 3 months. This location has 70 spacious double rooms, which can currently accommodate up to 140 employees. The rooms are fully furnished and fitted out, so that residents feel right at home. In addition, KaFra Best offers various communal facilities, such as a cozy communal kitchen, sports facilities and leisure options. 

In Gouda, we transformed the former Résidence Elzenhof into a proper housing location for up to 251 international employees, spread over 44 bungalows. In line with the housing vision of Living in Gouda 2030, the municipality underlines the importance of the Roemer Committee report concerning the housing of international employees. The college is therefore positive about KaFra's mission.

As of 4 March 2024 this location in Maasbree is an emergency shelter for up to 316 asylum seekers. The location has fully furnished housing units and facilities, which made it possible to offer them quick and practical shelter. The Flex Homes are located in a park-like environment with spacious green areas, recreational opportunities and ample parking. Permanent security and supervision are guaranteed, and residents have access to language lessons and support.

The modern, newly constructed Flex Accommodation of KaFra Greenport was built in record time thanks to the smart modular design and the excellent cooperation between all stakeholders. Construction began in January 2019 and the building has been fully occupied since May 2019. The location consists of three floors with two- and four-person studios and can accommodate 416 international employees. The studios are fully furnished with a living room, open kitchen, private bathroom and toilet. In addition, residents can use a communal launderette and various sports and relaxation facilities.

At De Conifeer in Oostrum, we set up a modern housing location for up to 240 international employees. The site covers more than two hectares and provides space for 60 fully equipped Flex Homes. Surrounded by greenery, recreational opportunities and ample parking facilities, this location is designed for comfort and convenience. 

In collaboration with various partners, we developed a housing location in Waalwijk for 400 international employees in just 26 weeks. The complex consists of four floors with double and quadruple studios. All studios have a living room with open kitchen, separate bathroom and toilet. In addition, there are communal laundromats and extensive sports and leisure facilities, including a billiard table.
