KAFRA manages a housing facility on the Achtersluispolder industrial estate in Zaandam. NB Zaandam consists of 122 modular two-person studios with private kitchens and bathrooms. The studios are fully fitted and have all modern conveniences. They are also sustainable, energy efficient and are fitted with solar panels and heat pumps. The compact building houses up to 244 migrant workers. The residents enjoy carefree living in a facility that complies with the latest standards.
KAFRA is responsible for managing NB Zaandam. Professional Welfare Officers actively manage the 122 studios. There are clear house rules, residents receive intensive guidance and there is extensive contact with the local community, municipality and advisory group.
