The Roekenbosch holiday park in Blitterswijck (municipality of Venray) is undergoing a transformation. Half of the existing 224 holiday homes will soon be demolished. The other half will be renovated. During the coming decade, 57 holiday homes will house migrant workers and 44 homes will house people who urgently need housing. The homes will be demolished in 2029 and the park will be returned to nature.

KAFRA and other parties will manage the Roekenbosch facility during the coming decade. Professional Welfare Officers actively manage the 57 homes for 250 migrant workers. There are clear house rules, residents receive intensive guidance and there is extensive contact with the local community, municipality and advisory group.
